Researchers from the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering utilized the ASWAXS facility at ChemMatCARS to elucidate the selective association of ions within the three-dimensional framework of nonporous structures, such as Prussian Blue analogs (PBA). These findings provide a deeper comprehension of the identification and utilization of chemical “handles” to enhance the separation performance of porous materials, including PBA.
